What’s unfortunate about this one is I don’t know if it’s an actual memory or if it is because I saw a picture of it; there’s the picture of me at my ‘old house’ (I’ve moved like 4 times since becoming an adult but only once as a child, from my house I lived in til age 3 to my fam’s current house), in a diaper, about 2 years old, eating pizza at a picnic table in the backyard, and there’s an umbrella over the picnic table.
I feel like I vividly remember this but I’m not sure if I actually do or if it’s in my mind because of the picture.
3 other memories that I’m certain are legit (but that are totally vague) are
1) of me in my bedroom at the ‘old house’ before my sister was born and mom reading me a book, I had smurf wallpaper and the parts of the wall that weren’t papered were a sickly gold. I can only remember the walls, though, nothing else about the room… or the inside of the ‘old house’ at all, come to think of it. It still stands, and it is impossibly small for a 2-story home. It looks like a shed. It’s also in a very bad part of town that I wouldn’t set foot in after dark nowadays.
2) Me with Mom in the living room, making Valentine cards… well, signing them. They were Thomas the Tank Engine.
3) Lying on my bedroom floor (not sure why) one night when Nanny was babysitting me, and my fingers were spread out in front of me near the door, and Nanny opened the door and my fingers got caught under it and scraped. I don’t know anything else surrounding that, just that it happened.
